AN EXTRAORDINARY KITCHEN MADE IN EXTRAORDINARY SURROUNDINGS.
Pyram is a world leader in the manufacture of top quality high-end European kitchen cabinets. For over fifty years we’ve employed the same core principles to create a truly outstanding product: the highest quality materials, skilled craftsman, and technical precision. In business since 1966, the now 300,000 square foot facility is located in the picturesque Cère valley of Cantal, Central France. Nestled within the lush green mountains in the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Park, Europe’s largest regional park, Pyram’s lifelong commitment to sustaining and protecting the environment is a natural expression of its beautiful surroundings. And now, for the first time in the company’s celebrated history, these superb products are available in the United States.
Beginning in the Summer of 2017, Pyram made its first foray into the U.S. market, opening a 2500 square foot kitchen showroom inside the prestigious , in the heart of San Francisco’s Design District. Selecting Showplace East as their first U.S.-based home was an inspired decision. The surrounding gardens extend inside, creating a seamless, and gorgeous, indoor/outdoor experience, that echoes the beautiful location of Pyram’s home in France. With the highest quality in design and innovation represented throughout the neighborhood, Pyram feels right at home among the world’s top designers, manufacturers, and innovators that share this location in one of the most beautiful cities in the country, and arguably the most European of American locations.
Pyram USA is the result of the interaction between two distinct cultures – American and French.
Daniel Leffler and Jam Iksoulene are Pyram USA’s managing partners. With an extensive background in residential design, construction and development, Daniel brings his love of interior design and fine material selection to this newest endeavor. He started his first business, Takoma Carpentry, over twenty years ago, and has been designing, renovating, and building residential properties since that time. In the summer of 2015, Daniel took over SF Custom Cabinets, a high-quality manufacturing operation based in the Bayview District in San Francisco.
Jam’s skills are in restaurant design and construction and in sophisticated cabinet making. From 2002 through 2010 he had designed and built some of the European restaurants. Next six years he was working with top European cabinet makers. In 2016 he decided to team up permanently with the Pyram France team, and Daniel Leffler, in order to bring Pyram’s signature high-end cabinetry line to the United States for the first time in the company’s long and prestigious history.
